Outreach Strategies: Principles and Best Practices Who Should Attend: Managers and practitioners of corporate social responsibility/social outreach programs at the corporate and field level; environmental, health and safety managers; public and government affairs staff; business unit managers interested in this area of the business. Learning Expectations: There are increasing requirements and expectations for social outreach and community engagement in today’s global marketplace. In developing new projects, oil and gas companies must comply with social and environmental safeguard policies imposed by public institutions such as the World Bank and by commercial financial institutions that have voluntarily committed to respect these same safeguard policies. In addition, companies are expected to support the local communities where they have operations. This course covers some of the emerging models and thinking about social outreach. Duration:
