Safety Trained Supervisor-Petrochemical Course Who Should Attend: This program is a must for safety, health, environmental officers and people with main job duties in leadership, supervision or management, or in a technical specialty and who have some safety responsibility in addition to their primary duties. It is a must for those preparing to take the examination leading to the designation of Safety Trained Supervisor (STS). Learning Expectations: The safety trained supervisor certification conforms to the Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and Safety Technologist (CCHEST) and is available for general industry, the construction industry, and the petrochemical industry. This workshop will identify potential problem areas, recommend resources available to prepare for the exam, explain certification requirements and scoring procedures, and review content materials utilizing a testing format.
