Refinery & Petrochemical Plant Accidents:What Went Wrong?
Who Should Attend: This program is designed for a supervisor of a refinery unit or petrochemical plant, a maintenance foreman, or plant related manager, process chemical engineer, a design engineer or plant safety engineer, property insurance or other professional interested in Plant Safety. Learning Expectations: This course provides a framework for participants to increase their awareness, understand, appreciate, identify, mitigate and eliminate chemical process hazards? Real life look at multiple case histories of process accidents in the chemical industry will be presented. At the end of the course, students will learn how to prevent accidents from occurring; develop a practical “situation response” technique, better understand and implement “Management of Change Program” necessary to maintain good practices.
