PEA09 Petroleum Financial Workshop Who Should Attend: Chief Financial Officers, controllers, treasurers, financial analysts, asset team leaders, those moving from technical functional roles to general roles. Learning Expectations: The course will allow participants to learn impact of personnel decisions, drilling for reserves, production, acquiring or divesting assets; or forging strategic alliances on financial health of the business. A shifting and expanding global oil and gas economy has dramatically changed the role of financial decisions and the magnitude of their affect throughout the company. Heightened corporate competition, technological change, price volatility, inflation and interest rates coupled with worldwide economic uncertainty must be dealt with on a daily basis. This course will help identify the appropriate methods and reinforce them with relevant examples and group discussions.
