Introduction To Seismic Stratigraphy
Who Should Attend: Geophysicists, geologists, managers and explorationists. Learning Expectations: This course provides an introduction to the theory and application of contemporary seismic stratigraphic techniques to exploration. The objective of this course is for participants to learn the major structural trap geometries and to know and understand structural concepts well enough to predict structural geometries where data are absent, misleading, or conflicting. To achieve this goal, the course provides an overview of all hydrocarbon-bearing structural assemblages from the trap to the plate-tectonic scale.
