Industrial Fire Brigade Officer Course Who Should Attend: Industrial fire brigade members, safety officers, process safety coordinators and managers, plant management, operations and maintenance staff. Learning Expectations: The course covers Basic Industrial Fire Brigade Training (IFBB); Comprehensive Industrial Fire Brigade (IFBC); Industrial Fire Brigade Extended (IFBX). The industrial fire brigade attendees are provided with the basic incipient level fire training for general employee groups, or dedicated incipient level fire brigades. This training shall meet OSHA requirements for incipient level fire fighting. The industrial fire brigade member is instructed in the skills necessary to function as a member of an interior structural fire brigade as defined by OSHA's Fire Brigade Regulations. Topics include: hose line advancement, extinguisher selection and use, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment, and salvage practices. Practical application of these skills in a 'hands-on' manner is provided. Student will need: TOG, SCBA This course provides instruction in a more detailed format of the knowledge and skills required of members of incipient fire brigades as defined by OSHA. Duration:
