PPM05  How Efficient Is Your Process? Setting Design/Operational Targets

Who Should Attend: This program is designed to benefit design engineer, a developer of a new process, a supervisor of a chemical or refinery manufacturing unit, a process chemical engineer.

Learning Expectations: Would you like to be able to analyze your process to see how efficient it is relative to what is theoretically possible? Would you like to see what causes the inefficiencies? Understand the interaction between the different parts of the process. This course presents novel techniques that will enable you to do this. These are fundamentally based methods that only depend on overall mass, energy and work balances for the process. This means that one is in a position to do these calculations with a minimum of information. These can be done for new processes or at the very early stage of process development.
