Advanced Chemical Reactivity Hazard Management Who Should Attend: chemical engineers, process safety engineers, design engineers, plant managers, and HS&E managers with responsibility for designing, operating, or managing a facility that handles reactive materials or has potential for reactive interactions. In addition those involved in the auditing, insuring, or overseeing of process facilities and chemical warehouses will benefit. Learning Expectations: The course will provide participants an opportunity to understand chemical reactivity and how it has contributed to serious industrial accidents; acquire effective tools for identifying potential chemical interactions at your facility; see what is being done to make facilities inherently safer; learn what test methods are available to get the data you need to control reactivity hazards; see what other companies are doing to prevent and mitigate reactive material incidents; work through what is needed to safely handle specific reactive materials.
