Carbonate Reservoirs Who Should Attend: Geologists, Engineers, managers and geophysicists involved in exploration and development oil and gas fields. Learning Expectations: The course includes comprehensive overview of the basic characteristics of the carbonate depositional system, the application of sequence stratigraphic concepts to carbonates as a predictive tool in exploration for and modeling of carbonate reservoirs. Engineering and geologic aspects of carbonate pore systems are explored. This program incorporates rigorous workshops. The course participants will gain practical hands on experience in developing viable exploration and exploitation strategies for carbonate terrains.
