Basic Petroleum Geology Who Should Attend: Engineering, geophysical, petrophysicist, geotech, lawyer, technical support, financial analysts, sales representatives, administrative personnel and those with no technical training who deal with geologists or are involved in Petroleum industry and in need of basic geological training.
Learning Expectations: The Basic Petroleum Geology Program is
designed to broaden participants understanding of petroleum geology, key
geological principles and processes, including how certain petroleum
reservoirs and source rocks are formed, understanding their chemical
stability and how it relates to potential reservoir problems and issues.
